'Allah knows that I have never seen anyone who lived a better life than him despite what surrounded him of scarcity, poverty and lack of luxury, of imprisonment, threats and pressure. Despite that, he led the best of lives, was high-spirited, had the strongest of hearts and was the happiest of people - the look of tranquillity showed on his face. Whenever our fear intensified, whenever our hopes and thoughts fell low and whenever the earth constricted upon us, we would go to him, and it wouldn't be anymore than a moment of seeing him and hearing his words that all those feelings would disappear, and we'd return delighted, strengthened, with more conviction and serenity.'
