Truly the matter is as al-Junayd said:
"No-one has ever sought something with seriousness and in truth except that he attained it, and even if he does not attain it all, he surely attains some of it."

- Say [O Muhaammad]: 'O People of the Scripture (Jews & Christians), Come to a Word that is just between me and you, that we worship none but Allah (alone) and that we associate no partners with Him and that none of us shall take others as Lords besides Allah.' Then if they turn away say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims.' [Aal-Imran: 64]
